Yet A.R.S.E.N.A.L. manages to differentiate itself with features like an intelligent scoring system, multiplayer team play, and variable character personalities, adding depth and replayability beyond typical RTS standards. The game’s unique blend of accessible strategy with unexpected twists makes it engaging for players looking to invest in strategy-rich warfare.

Players start by creating their character, choosing elements like name, appearance, nationality, and even their flag—each flag unlocks access to unique special units, such as the devastating atomic bomber. This feature is rare among RTS games, where nationality rarely affects gameplay mechanics. While its graphics aren’t groundbreaking, A.R.S.E.N.A.L. makes strides in its latest version with a "Deep View" mode, which offers a near-3D perspective that enhances visual clarity without compromising on the simplicity of unit and structure recognition.
